Amelia Earhart was a woman of her times.  Though revered by her contemporaries, we now know that her achievements meant nothing, because she was physically unattractive.  Hopefully, with coming advances in archeology and computer simulation, we’ll be able to reconstruct what Catherine the Great and Cleopatra really looked like, so we can dismiss their accomplishments as well.
